Born and raised in Clovis New Mexico, Head Professor and Owner, Daniel Casarez has always had a passion for Martial Arts. It wasn't until he stumbled upon an underground Jiu Jitsu club on  the ENMU campus that he found his true passion for Jiu Jitsu and kickstarted his career in the sport. Daniel was the instructor of defensive tactics and use of force for the Clovis Police Department and SWAT team. While on duty, he quickly became aware of the importance of ground control and body dynamics, not only for the sport but for real life situations. In 2016 Daniel decided to leave the police department of 9 years and soley focus on growing his gym. Daniel was able to expand his schedule, allowing for a variety of classes throughout the week. As a full time coach Daniel was able to invest more study into this sport to further advance his skill under Professor Marcus Antalante- a multi world champion. Daniel earned his black belt under Professor Marcus in September of 2019. Daniel takes pride in developing a successful team with strong foundations and an even stronger desire to advance in their own personal Jiu Jitsu career.
